Saplings – Play School

“Saplings” is a unique initiative by Indian Women and Youth Skills Foundation in order to prepare children from the underprivileged background between 2 years 6 months to 5 years to attend regular schools. The mission of this project is to instill the culture of education and school going habit among the children from the BPL background. Along with education, IWAYSF also ensures providing regular mid-day meals to them.
“Saplings” works based on a fun way of educating children and also ensures they have ample fun filled activities which help the kids in an overall wellbeing! Located in the slums of Dhobiatala near EM Bypass Kolkata, Saplings welcomes visitors who want to celebrate their special days with the children. We believe morning shows the day; hence “Saplings” is our initiative to gift the future of India an opportunity to have a better life in the days to come.
